Gauteng fashion week is intrigue epic event of glitz and glamour and showbiz of Summer fashion collections , from top reputable local and international designers as they showcase the latest trends and style to Mzansi Fashion lovers in Gauteng province.
This Fishion event will be creating a plartform for both upcoming local and international fishion designers, Stylist and clothing stores, Fashion warehouse and Boutiques .
with so much challenges facing creative arts industry ,we hope through the success of this anticipated event , we will voice and address the challenges within creative arts industry and create opportunities for local fashion designers within all sectors of our society including the economic transformation.
The first 2 days of the event will kick off with Fashion workshops by top and well known fashion designers and stylists , the aim is to create diverse culture of education in fashion for both women and youth , But most in particular the workshop aim at developing and training young aspirant fashion designers in Gauteng province .
Gauteng fashion week will be held under The Theme of "Developing African Fashion Talents and Socio economic transformation and through empowerment, transformation and Education in creative industry .
The Gauteng fashion week will also have open air music performances by renowned local Artist , food stalls and craft market and lots of Entertaiment .
The fashion ramp will be staged for a week in biggest Arena which will cater for more than 500 guests , showcasing 100 pieces of fashion collections around the Globe.
The event will also host celebrities and public figures as well as local and international media houses .The event will be taking place at Gold reef city from 1September to 10 September 2016 , Tickets will be sold at Computicket ticket nationwide.
